Ms. MAO Qunfan Desiree is an English lecturer at the Education University of Hong Kong, HKSAR, China. Ms. MAO has taught, designed and coordinated EAP courses at universities as well as blended-learning-based ESP courses for international corporations in Asia. She has served as referees for international journal on E-learning and ELT conferences. Ms. Mao has presented at international ELT conferences on topics addressing pedagogical issues on blended learning for English language courses.
Her research interests include flipped language classroom, game-based pedagogy, learning analytics, learner autonomy and engagement, Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), AI in English learning, multilingual children’s language acquisition, English drama and storytelling, and ESL/EFL teacher training.
